hi! i am a bay area native and a first year master’s student at new york university studying human-computer interaction.

my design philosophy stems from my love for advocacy. while i had spent a long time toiling over potential careers, i always knew i wanted to work in a field that represented people's best interests. that is why i am drawn to product design: as a designer, i work to humanize technology by prioritizing user needs, accessibility, and creativity. i craft solutions based on service and empathy. let’s build something great together!

I was born in Nashville, Tennessee! I moved a lot growing up, so I have lived in Tennessee, Georgia, New York, Hong Kong, North Carolina, the Bay Area, Southern California, and now New York City. While I moved away from Nashville before I could remember anything, I am still an avid country music fan and a regular cowboy-boot-wearer. However, my tan could use some work.

🪄 interests

When I’m not working, I am probably training as a competitive powerlifter. I have been powerlifting for 3 years, and I have competed both locally and nationally. Some habits from this sport that I carry with me include: being hyperaware of my nutritional intake, owning way too many workout clothes (and doing too much laundry), and being everyone’s go-to fitness encyclopedia. I can be yours, too!

Otherwise, my interests include world history, trivia, reading, philosophy, graphic design, music, and copious amounts of TV. I am currently obsessed with Modern Family, House of Dragon, Bones, and Jujutsu Kaisen.
